Hi there,
Welcome to the first issue of our new quarterly newsletter.
If you’re a transport service provider that connects to us via our Public API, then you’re one of our valued Connectivity Partners. To help you get the most out of our products, we’re going to be telling you all about our new features and updates, and how they can benefit your business.
First of all, here’s a reminder of the core API features that are currently available to you as a Booking.com Connectivity Partner:

What’s new?
Improved Testability
Testing your integrations is something you’ve told us takes up too much time. We’ve therefore introduced a new feature in our Sandbox environment that your developers can use to test search functionality without needing to ask us for help.
Find all of our Sandbox documentation here.
Live Driver Tracking
We recently added the ability to share real-time location updates from your drivers. We already supported driver event updates, but this new feature will allow our customers to track the live progress of their ride on a map.
Our customers tell us that driver updates are one of the most important things when taking a ride, and receiving them enhances their overall experience. By integrating with this feature, you could improve your quality scores and in turn, increase your booking volumes.

What’s next?
Meeting points
A recurring theme in our research with transport customers is that knowing where to find the driver is absolutely crucial. This makes perfect sense - after a long flight, especially to an unfamiliar destination, you wouldn’t want the added uncertainty of not knowing where your driver is going to be waiting.
We want to make the pick-up process absolutely seamless for our drivers and customers by introducing Meeting Points to the Public API. Simply tell us where you want to meet the customer, and we’ll take care of the rest.
