Price altering/non-price altering amendments
Currently, we only allow amendments to take place outside the cancellation lead time window. For example, if the cancellation window is <2 hours prior to pickup, an amendment won’t be possible inside that 2hr window. In this instance, the customer would have to cancel, incurring applicable charges and rebook. This applies to price altering and non-price altering changes. Our CS can make these changes manually, but they would not do so without prior approval from the partner, and they have the ability to alter the rate accordingly.
Some kinds of amendment would trigger the booking to be cancelled and rebooked at the best rate available at the given time, from all of our suppliers. Others would simply change to a pending amendment status, and remain allocated to the current supplier:

Flight number amends can only happen 3hrs either side of the original pickup time, so the new pickup time should never change by more than 3 hours, making it unlikely to be a price altering change. |
