Registering a Driver

Via the Booking.com Taxi Partner Portal you can create and manage your drivers, then assign them to rides. We'll then send them an SMS to start using the app.

Follow these, simple steps to get started:

Navigate to the “Drivers” tab in the partner portal and select “Add a driver”. 

Enter the details of the driver, make sure their mobile number is correct including the country code. 

Once they are added, you will be able to see their names, phone numbers and their status (“Active”/ “Not activated”).

After you have created a new driver in the Partner Portal or via API, that driver will receive a text message with a link to Booking.com Driver App (video available at the bottom of the page). 

Please Note: Booking.com APP is a web app, you will not find it in the IOS/Android APP store.

Next driver should click the link in the SMS through to the Driver App and select their preferred language and name (this is the name passengers will see).

Next, they will be asked to create a six-digit passcode for security, this will allow them to quickly log into the app when they’re on the go.
