At Booking.com Taxi we work with a variety of partners, with a variety of needs. Read this guide carefully before deciding which tools are appropriate for your business.
Booking.com Taxi Partner Portal
What is it?
The Taxi Partner Portal is the public facing web application that allows our supply partners to manage their bookings.
What does it do?
Primarily, it allows our partners to:
- View upcoming bookings, along with the relevant details.
- Perform any required actions on upcoming bookings (e.g. Acknowledge the booking, Assign a Driver to a booking).
- View bookings that occurred in the past.
- Manage drivers (e.g. Create, assign or delete a driver from a booking).
- View quality reports to improve the service for our guests.
Who is it for?
The portal is beneficial for Supply Partners who don’t want or who are unable to establish a connection to us via API.
If you don’t have your own dispatch software, or you do, but you’re not in a position to connect to our API then the Partner Portal will allow to you to partner with us and receive bookings, anyway.
Booking.com Taxi Driver App
What is it?
The Driver App is a public facing web app that allows drivers working for our supply partners to service their bookings.
What does it do?
Primarily, it allows drivers to:
- View upcoming bookings, along with the relevant details.
- Perform any required actions on upcoming bookings (eg, notify that they are en route to pickup, have arrived at the pickup location, departing to the drop-off and passenger dropped off).
Who is it for?
For our supply partners who don’t have the means to send driver events with their own tool for providing fulfilment data. I.e. those without use of a dedicated driver app.
Use our driver app, and it will allow you to:
- Improve your customer experience quality scores, subsequently getting you more bookings.
- Automate the customer no-show process, removing the need to call our partner services team to report these.

Booking.com Taxi Public API
What is it?
The Public API is the core interface for supply partners to manage their bookings via the Booking.com Taxi family of websites.
What does it do?
Our Public API is the most efficient way to work with us, as it connects our systems directly to your dispatch software. Use it to:
- Share rates and availability.
- Receive bookings, booking updates and cancellations.
- Manage locations of operation.
If you have your own driver app, you can also use the API to manage drivers and send us in-trip fulfilment data. This is not a requirement to work with us as we also offer our own driver app which you can use. More information on the Booking.com Taxi Driver App here.
Who is it for?
To ensure that we continue to deliver the value and the level of service our guests expect, new Booking.com Taxi API partners would be required to meet these requirements:
- At least 1 full-time software developer in direct employment
- PCI & PII compliance
- Cloud-based or Central Server based software
- Supports OAuth 2.0
- Supports rates and availability management
- Supports real-time updates of rates and availability
- Supports instant confirmation of incoming reservations

We don't accept API connections from companies without developers in direct employment, as our APIs are constantly evolving as we work to improve the experience of our customers.
