Booking.com Taxi Driver App 

What is the Booking.com Driver App?

Being able to provide driver updates as they wait to be picked up is the kind of service our guests have come to expect. However, we realise not all of our supply partners have their own driver app. The Driver App is your drivers’ tool to manage and monitor all your Booking.com allocated rides directly on their smartphones.

Before the ride, drivers will be able to see all their bookings for the next two days (rides assigned with pickups above 2 days in the future will not be yet visible to drivers) with the customer pickup information and flight details. During the ride, drivers will be able to send events to our pickup companion app for customers. If the customer doesn’t show up then the driver will be able to report this easily via the driver app, saving time on the phone reporting this to our partner services team.

  • View and manage upcoming bookings
  • Navigate to the pickup/drop off locations
  • Find the guest’s flight number
  • Communicate updates automatically to the customer 
    • Driver departed to pickup location
    • Driver arrived at pickup location
    • Driver departed to drop off location
    • Driver arrived at drop off location 
  • Turn their device sideways to use as a name board 
  • Text/call the customer
  • Report a customer no-show 
    • Saves time-consuming phone calls 
    • Removes the need to send us proof that the driver was there on time

Getting started 

There are 2 ways you can do this, via our Partner Portal or API.

Portal - You can create a driver, assign the ride to your driver using our Portal. Your drivers will be able to use our Booking.com Driver APP on their smartphone. Click here for a guide to get started, for Portal partners. 

API - If you are connected or want to connect to our API and do not have your own driver App, no problem. Via API you can still allow your drivers to use our Booking.com Driver APP on their smartphone. Click here for a guide to get started, for API partners.

Please Note: Booking.com APP is a web app, you will not find it in the IOS/Android APP store.
