Maximum lead time is 13 months.
-
Maximum duration is 3 months.
-
The stop sale name needs to be unique
-
No overlapping stop sales for a location and car type.
To create a stop sale, navigate to the ‘Availability’ tab within the Portal. Here you can see all your active stop sales, as well as add a new one. To do that click on the ‘Create a stop sale’ button.
When you click on the "Create a stop sale" button, a page where you can add a new stop sale will open.
You can select a stop sale for multiple locations and all vehicle types or a stop sale for one location and specific vehicle types.
To create a stop sale for multiple locations and all vehicle types you will need to select all the locations you want the stop to be applied to, then choose the start date and time of the sale period and add a name for your stop sale. The name needs to be unique and is just for your reference, it won’t be shown to customers. Then click the “Create stop sale” button.
To create a stop sale for one location and specific vehicle types you will need to to select one location and one or more vehicles you want the stop to be applied to, then choose the start date and time of the sale period and add a name for your stop sale. The name needs to be unique and is just for your reference, it won’t be shown to customers. Then click the “Create stop sale” button.
Note: Stop sales can take up to 3 hours to take effect. During this time you can still receive bookings.
What happens to my current bookings?
Creating a stop sale will only stop you receiving new bookings, if you already have bookings on the dates you want to stop sale, these will need to be honored. If you can no longer perform these bookings, please contact us.
How do I delete a stop sale?
To delete a stop sale, navigate to the ‘Availability’ tab within the Portal. Here you can see all your active stop sales. Click the three dots on the right and then click ‘delete’.
To confirm, click on the red ‘delete’ button.
Very Important: If you are managing your rates via API, portal stop sale rules do not apply. You have to manage your own availability via your own system.
