Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to handle child seat requests:
Types of Child Seats
- Baby seat: For children weighing under 20 lbs/9 kg (From birth to about 1 year old)
- Child car seat: For children weighing 20-40 lbs/9-18 kg (About 1-3 years old)
- Booster seat: For children weighing 40-100 lbs/18-45 kg (About 3-11 years old)
Submitting the Request
Upon receiving a booking that includes a child seat request, please submit the request through our supplier webform as soon as possible. It is crucial to note the following:
- The request must be submitted before the pickup date and time. Late submissions cannot be processed.
- Requests cannot be handled over the phone; they must be submitted via the webform.
- Please ensure that the booking ID is always included in the subject line.
- Only one request will be handled at a time; multiple requests will be declined.
- Please refrain from sending reminders or follow-ups unless you have verified that payment has not been received during your billing cycle.

Providing Additional Information
In the description box of the webform, ensure to specify the following details:
- Availability: Indicate if you have a suitable child seat available for the journey.
- Charges: Mention any additional charges associated with providing the child seat.
- Regulatory Requirements: Confirm if it is mandatory in your area for taxis to be equipped with a suitable child seat.
Processing the Request
- Customers can request a child seat by leaving a message in the comments section during the booking process.
- Upon receiving the request, please submit it through the designated portal.
- The system will automatically acknowledge the request with a confirmation reply.
Please be aware that we have introduced a new procedure for handling requests. The system will now automatically reply to all requests. While our agents will ensure that rates are updated as needed, they will no longer follow up on individual requests.
Handling Additional Charges
If any extra charges arise related to the child seat, our Customer Service team will add this amount to the booking before the pickup.
Important: Do not charge the customer directly for these additional costs.
