Distance rates:
These allow you to set up pricing per Km, they are self-managed in the partner portal and changes are applied in real time. There’s also a helpful tool that allows you to test that the rates have been loaded correctly.
Note: Before configuring distance rates, it's essential to establish your operational area. Find instructions on how to do this here.
How do I set up distance rates?
Go to the “Locations & Rates” tab in your upper menu and click on the location’s name you want to set up distance rates for. From here you can see the distance rates tool.
Adding your distance rates
- To add your rates click on “Set up”. Here you will see all of the vehicles you have set up in that location.
- Add first your base rate along with the distance covered within that price. Afterwards, include your rates for additional kilometers.
- Check your final rate using the calculator.
- Important: "Check your Rate" simulation does not include in the calculation: Airport Fees, Daily Rules, Hourly Rules and Campaigns.
- To proceed, it's necessary to input rates for all your vehicles in the selected location. You can revisit this screen later to modify your rates if needed. Once you're satisfied with your prices, click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
Adding your extras (Airport pickup fees):
In the following step, you have the option to include an airport fee, if applicable.
N.B. After submission, please note that it may take up to 3 hours for your rates to become effective.
Editing your rates
To modify your distance rates anytime, simply click on the three dots located to the right of the Distance Rates section, and then select 'Edit.'
What happens if I have fixed route rates as well?
Fixed route rates are prioritized over distance rates. Therefore, if a fixed route rate is available, it will always be applied first, even if it's priced higher. If a pickup or drop-off location is not covered by the fixed route rate, then the system will revert to using distance rates if they are configured.
