We are excited to announce that we're finalising a significant update to our apps, allowing users to include the number of passengers as a search parameter for ride bookings. Previously, while we captured the number of travellers for accommodation bookings, rides were automatically set for two passengers when no stay was part of the trip. This default often created challenges for you, our partners, especially when the actual number of passengers varied.
With this upcoming update, users will now have the ability to specify or modify the number of passengers during the booking process. This important detail will be seamlessly integrated into the booking system and communicated directly to you, our partners, ensuring smooth operations and better service.
Furthermore, even if users arrive via cross-sell and browse available ride options, they will still be able to adjust the passenger count using the search feature. This enhancement allows for more accurate search results, displaying only vehicles that can accommodate the selected number of passengers.
This update is designed to improve the overall user experience while helping you, our partners, better meet customer needs. We're confident that this new feature will streamline the booking process and provide a more tailored experience for travelers. Stay tuned for the official release!
