When it comes to changing your legal entity name, there are certain steps that need to be taken in order to ensure a smooth transition.
As part of this process, first and foremost, we kindly request that you provide us with the information regarding the operational status of your current legal entity. Having this information is crucial for us to move forward with the required steps for transitioning to a new entity.
Please be aware that starting as new will be necessary, meaning that a new contract will need to be signed with your new entity while the old entity will be terminated. In order to facilitate this transition, you will be required to fill out two forms - the Supplier Information Form and the Lexis Nexis Company Screening Form, along with providing specific documents listed in the Supplier Information Form.
Once these steps are completed, you will receive a new contract for your new entity. As a security measure, we advise against sending bank information via email. Your new company will be set up in our system, and a new Partner Portal account will be created for you.
It is important to note that any future bookings made under the old entity cannot be transferred to the new entity. Payments for services rendered by the old entity will continue to be directed to the old entity's bank account. Additionally, quality scores and Preferred Partner status may be temporarily affected during this transition period.
The entire process can take between a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the timely completion of the required steps. Your agreement with this process is essential for us to proceed accordingly. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
