Within the world of software development, if you stop evolving then you get passed by. At booking.com, we are always evolving our proposition and want to be able to support our partners to do the same.
We also know that there are those occasions when the unexpected happens; whether that's in working hours or out of them. But ensuring communications are as slick as possible between Booking.com and our partners means that we can continue to offer the best possible service to our customers.
This is why, from 15th January 2024, we introduced a new technical change process to improve the communications between partners and booking.com but also to reduce the amount of wasted effort due to these types of changes.
Change request - you are making a scheduled change to your own systems/applications which would affect the functionality, scope or performance
Initiating a Change or Incident request
The new process, regardless of whether it is to make us aware of a change or incident will be managed through the Supply Partner Centre.
This will be the fastest way to get directly to our technical teams at all times and will also alert your account manager automatically for follow up.
In order to initiate the request, simply select ‘I have a technical request’ from the questions ‘How can we help you?’ and from here you will be able to raise the change request or log the incident as follows.

If you are making a scheduled change to your own systems/applications which would affect the functionality, scope or performance then 2 weeks notice of the change is required.
If a full scheduled outage if required we ask that it does not last more than two (2) hours with a time slot of at least four (4) hours between each single scheduled outage and that the Scheduled Outage does not take place between Friday 19:00h UK GMT and Sunday 23:59h UK GMT.
On making the request, please give as much information as you can so that we can assess the impact of the change and whether any action is required by booking.com. This will then be reviewed by our teams, who will be in touch if any further details or actions are required.
